Why do I keep seeing that Avar cleanser is a gel, mine is more of a cream?

The instructions state that you should work into a lather, but the bottle I have does not lather. I'm really confused. Did the Pharmacist miss something or is the info I'm getting online just not clear? What I have is a yellowish cream.

There is an Avar topical cleanser and an Avar topical gel. Your doctor probably prescribed the cleanser. Call and double check with the pharmacist, a mistake was probably not made, but it's always good to check for sure.
