I can head off a vertigo attach sometimes with Bonine and have only mild
side effects. If I take a meclizine pill - I have to go to bed and am wiped out for at least the next 12 hours. Anyone know if there are any different
ingredients
Why are my effects different with Bonine and Meclizine 25 mg?

What strength of Bonine do you take? If you take 25mg and the dose is same, then it may be possible that the generic version of meclizine that you take have inert substances which alter effects you get.
There may be a possibility that the generic version is absorbed at a faster rate or more and hence causes the extra sedation.
I don't know what the exact inert ingredients are in these pills, but you could call the manufacturer(s) and they may be able to help.
