Hello diver,

Simvastatin 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg tablets are manufactured by IVAX Pharmaceuticals, while simvastatin 80 mg tablets are made by Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals.

Ezetimibe is manufactured by both Merck and Schering-Plough.

Is Zetia or ezetimibe a so-called "statin" drug or not?

Can't seem to determine if Zetia is in that category or not.
