so my friend hands me a pill one nite and of course I don't take anything I don't know what it is..but she said it was to calm me down... she says she takes it when she has anxiety... now I'm curious what she is taking and what she is handing me? It's a little round white pill with a symbol that looks like an R but more in cursive with 59 underneath. Does anyone know what this is?

Do you think it could be this? It's Lorazepam.
What are lorazepam tablets? LORAZEPAM (Ativan(R)) is a benzodiazepine. Benzodiazepines belong to a group of medicines that slow down the central nervous system. Lorazepam relieves anxiety and nervousness.
