This pill is Tizanidine HCl 2mg (generic for Zanaflex) by Par.
Tizanidine tablets 2 mg are white to off white, oval, flat, bevelled
edged tablets embossed with R179 on one side and bisecting score on other side.

Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works by blocking nerve impulses (or pain sensations) that are sent to your brain.
