mercerfli...Whipple surgery for Pancreatic Cancer 8 years ago. I take 4 Viokase 8 per meal how many Creon 6 .Will be changing to Creon in the very near future because of the unavailability of Viokase. Very tough to figure the equivalancy.

It's best to discuss this with your doctor. They may know how to convert the dose from Viokase to Creon. In any case they'll have to monitor you initially when you do swap over to Creon.
Another thing that can be done is contact the manufacturers of Creon ... I'm sure they can help out with a dose guideline.
