I went to the doc with stomach pain and my test is comeing back today to see if I have them. She gave me a perscription for promethazine for the vomiting and I got Zegarid for the acid. Now I am much worse and not sure which one is doing it. I stopped taking them both and the vomiting has stopped but still ulser pain. Any help would be awesome!
Which otc med for ulcers seem to have the least allergic reations and side effects?

hi i used to take premethazine, but it was a caution to check its combination with other medications, my kids take zantac-liquid for rantinidine, i just started last thursday-famoidine 20mg/generic pepcid... and i am quite comfortable with it it has helped me a great deal... because of a severe allergic reaction ive encountered with a blood pressure medicine (lisinopril) it almost killed me, so i am left with swollen esophagus, reflux, intermitten hives,this medicine i can feel how it makes the changes in my body, slowly return back to normal... good luck with your decision o'kay..vtech10

Thanks for the info. I take lisinopril as well, I wonder if the combo is messing me up as well.
