I have both and I'm in extreme pain right now and want to take the stongest of the 2 to ease the pain in my bad back. Can't remember which is stronger - Thanks !

Laurie is right and the Oxycodone is supposed to be a bit stronger but then I was going to add that different people have different opinions on which works best but you have already gotten both opinions. As Laurie said, you may not notice a whole lot of difference between the two. But the oxycodone is a Schedule 2 opioid and hydrocodone is a schedule 3 so the oxycodone is considered the stronger of the two.
