Each of these meds work in different ways. I use nexium and it works well. As far as the others I would aske\ your doctor which would best help your condition. Sometimes OTC meds that are indicated for the same condition but work in different ways which may not suit your needs Hope this helps

I started quite a few years ago on aciphex, that helped quite a bit but after a while seemed to lose its effectiveness. Dr switched me to Prilosec and that also seemed to work for quite a while. Now, been on Nexium for about 9 months. It works well for the reflux but now I think I'm experiencing quite a few side effects that have me concerned. Going to meet with my Dr soon to discuss and may get off Nexium.

Why should you not take at the same time you take an acid reducer like Prevacid?

Does Savella react with Over the counter Prilosec? My doctor has me on 4 prilosec per day?

I was having stomach pain and nausea. I also read that long term use of Neximum could cause bone loss. I did see my doctor and even had a dex scan done but my bone level is fine. The nausea and stomach pain went away and have not experienced it any more.
