I am highly sensitive to what one doctor called "first generation" antihistimines. Last night I took doxylamine succinate for the first time in a multi-symptom cold medicine. I fell asleep and couldn't wake up for 13-14 hours, I had a similar reaction to the antihistimine that is in Actifed several years ago.
Where can I find information on drugs related to doxylamine succinate?

Other first generation antihistamines include
•Brompheniramine ( Dimetapp Cold & Allergy Elixir, Robitussin Allergy & Cough Liquid)
•Chlorpheniramine ( Singlet)
•Dimenhydrinate (Dramamine Original)
•Diphenhydramine ( Benadryl Allergy, Nytol, Sominex)
•Doxylamine ( Vicks NyQuil, Alka-Seltzer Plus Night-Time Cold Medicine)
You can search in drugs.com for information on all these antihistamines.
