I do not know why the regular Bayer Aspirin is not available that I used to buy WITHOUT THAT COATING ON IT. I want it to disolve in my mouth. With it in my mouth, I lay on my back and let it disolve in the back of my throat. This is a great relief for my sore throat and helps my coughing. I also have COPD. I am greatly helped by this.
Where can I buy the 'regular Bayer Aspirin' that DOES NOT HAVE THE DAM COATING ON IT ? Please help?

Bayer recently came out with Quick Release Crystals in single dose pouches. They're flavored like the baby aspirin and each dose pouch has 850 mgs of Aspirin and 65 mgs of Caffeine that dissolve on your tongue. Since each pouch contains 850 mgs of aspirin, that may be more than you were taking and you may want to just take half or less of the pouch. Also, if you cannot tolerate caffeine this product should not be used. They added the caffeine as a pain relief booster to the aspirin.
The only other suggestion I have is to try regular store brand aspirin. Most generic or store brands are uncoated and just may serve the purpose and save you some money. Otherwise, as the above post mentioned, baby aspirin may be your only other option.
