fortunatei have heard zantac will show up as meth. is there anything that will show up as methadone other than methadone? when testing for meth in a lab will methadone show up or is there a different or specific test needed? urine was + for meth but could it be the zantac showing up?

zantac would not show a positive methadone in urine. The methadone metabolite is present in the urine. Methadone stays in the body for quite awhile and zantac is usally used by people on methadone who think it will make the dose work better which of course is total bullshit.
If the lab is testing the urine then methadone will definately show up..Hope that helps... Dave
