stayc25I have been taking Geodon for almost a month. I am beside myself with the anxiety. I cant sit still, I cant fall asleep. I am pacing constantly. When driving, I am almost scared because of the anxiety. I am wondering if I am the only one going through this or if this is common. Should I ask for something for the anxiety or try a different drug all together?!
Other than the anxiety, I do like being more stable- emotionally.
When taking Geodon, Did you experience any or heavy anxiety?

Edit* I did see my doc and we dropped me down from 160 mg to 120 mg. Also added Xanax for anxiety as needed and Ambien when needed.
So far, so good.

I took Geodon and stopped it. But, for reasons different than yours. However, I remember or I think I remember my Doc telling me that some people get this feeling like they can't sit still and they have to pace etc.. She told me to call her asap if I started to have any of those feelings. So, call your Doc. I maybe wrong. I've had to take so many meds. .I maybe getting Geodon mixed up. Good luck.
