The only difference is how long they will stay in your system. Regular Oxycodone has a half life of 3.2 hours so it will stay in your system for approximately 6.4 hours vs Oxycontin which will stay in your system for approximately 9 hours. They are the exact same drug otherwise. Hope this helps!
