Fasting blood sugars are considered normal in a range from 70-100. Normal blood sugar values 2 hours after meals is considered normal in the ranges of 70-145. Random blood sugars are considered normal in the range of 70-125. Your Dr may have different values in mind for you depending on how high your sugars run. If you tend to run extremely high, your Dr may be happy if your sugars are below 200. Ask your Dr what range he prefers you to be in after taking Janumet.
