My 7yr.old daughter was just diagnosed with adhd and put on concerta but, unfortunatly it caused insomnia!So her doctor is starting her on the strattera for 10mg every morning but after reading all the reviews im really not sure if it's a good idea to give her it in the am... any suggestion??

Hello katelynnsmommy. Did my reading up on both the concerta and strattera. But have you tried the strattera in the morning and given it a chance to see how it goes for her? Then if some of the nasty side-eefects are there, then try around noon and see how she reacts. I might be wrong but be it given in the morning or say around noon time, if shes going to have say, nausea, she'll have that particular side effect regardless of what time of the day she were to take her med. Well hopefully she'll do well on the strattera, andhave minimal side effects.very best to you both.
