I checked the website but its not very clear, I want to know when its okay to completely rely on Ortho-Evra for contraception. I believe the website said something about relying on another contraceptive method during Week 1, is this for every cycle of four weeks or just the first week of the first cycle?
When is it safe to not use other contraceptive method while using Ortho Evra?

When you start using Ortho Evra ... you need to take extra precaution for the first 7 days of the FIRST cycle and if you use it consecutively every month then you don't need to take extra precaution every month.
"Use a second form of contraception, such as a condom, spermicide, or diaphragm, for the first 7 days of your first cycle."
