wanted to know how they drug test when doing a urine drug test do they test for different opiates or do they do a general test that will show if an opiate is in your system

When they drug test you, it just shows up as an opiate, not the name of the pill. But in some cases, like newer tests that they send off to the lab, often in pain management, it does show up the name of the opiate. But the ones for probation and stuff like that, they all just show up as an opiate. When they do the drug test, if they tell you what you were positive for right there then it all just shows up as an opiate. If they send it off to a lab then it will most likely tell which kind of opiate it is.

is oxycontin an opiod? because i took a probation drug test that tested for THC, Cocaine, and Opiates, i took 2 real 80 ml oxys the night before the test and i had no opiate in my system. Im very perplexed and hope u can help me out. Thanks Joe2009
yes it is definitely an opiod and it will pop if taken within 72hrs of your drug test
so i test again wed the9th if i stay clean for 6 days do u think ill pass it
oh plus the last time i took the urine test i did 2 80ml oxy the night before, was tested the next morning for Weed, Coke, and opiates and they said no opiate was found in my system. Whats up with that???
that is just a fluke. if they are doing the simple test where they place a multi test probe in urine it can be fooled and is highly innacurate in some cases. but u will be fine most definitely after 72hrs. i sometimes forget that civilians take a less in depth test. the ones i take go to a lab for chemical analysis.
