Lisinopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACE Inhibitor), which helps reduce blood pressure.
Micardis HCT is a combination of an angiotensin II receptor blocker and a diuretic.
Telmisartan, the angiotensin II receptor blocker works by relaxing the blood vessels.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic works to decrease blood pressure. It helps the kidneys to eliminate fluid and sodium from the body.
ACE inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor blockers work differently.
Most people who experience cough from ACE Inhibitors will experience cough from all of them so there is no point in putting you on another ACE Inhibitor. Angiotensin II antagonists are generally used in high blood pressure patients who experience cough on ACE Inhibitors. This generally does not cause coughing as a side effect.

Although Calcium has been taken with these medicines you might have to b monitored.
There are minor to moderate interactions between calcium and these medicines.
