Both medicines are antibiotics - they fight bacteria to stop infection.
They belong to different classes of antibiotics and have a similar spectrum of activity.
Cefprozil is in a group of drugs called cephalosporin antibiotics.
Penicillin VK belongs to the Penicillin drug class.
