ADHD was literally voted into existance in 1987 by the American Psychiatric Association and added to their billing book DSM(Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders) The list of so called symptoms could describe any normal energetic child yet psychiatrists try to promote it as a brain disorder. Despite years of research there is still no clear cut test which proves it exists. ADHD has made a fortune for drug companies.
The side effects of stimulants include weight loss, heart conditions, liver and kidney damage and even sudden death. Please look at www.ritalindeath.com
I think its a disgrace to give these drugs to children and I think you should have your heart checked for a start. If you had a stroke it could definitely be linked to the drugs you took as a child. My advice is always eat healthy and exercise and live a healthy life as possible. NOone should be on constant medication for unproven conditions. It destroys your health in the long term
Good luck !
