I'm taking a test tomorrow but i took a couple unprescribed somas today and was told they dont show up in those tests... either that or they'd just show up the same as methadone will. I'm worried and feel like an idiot for doing that because this test will determine if i can go from every other day doses to weekly doses. please give me answers from personal experience or just good knowledge on that stuff.

Hi StayUp - I don't really have an answer to your question but saw that you didn't have an answer so thought I would at least tell you my experience. It's different than what you're asking but I didn't want you to feel noone was listening. I go to a pain mgmt clinic and they test for pretty much everything. To make sure you're taking what is prescribed to you but not what isn't. I do know that Soma (muscle relaxer) and Methadone (opiate) don't show up as the same drug. But since I don't know what your clinic tests for I can't give you a definitive answer. I'm hoping someone that goes to a Methadone clinic will respond to your question. Please let me know what happens.

Soma, I assume you are refering to Sobatin, is in use at methodone clinics as well as an inhibitor for your brain not to crave the herion "want, or need", thats why you take the methodone. From your question you are up for a reduction in dosage of methodone, required by state law, to see if you can tolerate less methodone, less frequency of use, if you took 2-Somas you only cheated your self, and now the test will not be accurate to determine if you can go off methodone. Good-luck, and try being honest at the test site if the question comes up, I would not want to see a relapse.

Somas are not detectable in a drug screen, the ingredient in it is not one of the drugs listed on any panel. I went to MMT and would sometimes do soma, and it's simply not tested, as you will see since this question was a few days ago, but you should post your personal findings.

Hi I was wondering since your post was 7days ago, if u know what soma shows up as? I also attend Methadone clinic, I am on level 3 but also on probation.I am having a boob job Friday and the Dr didn't approve my Soma,that the surguon prescribed.My surgeon Says I will need them terriably.So I wanted to know if I take them will it show up on the UA test, and if so what does it show up as? And how long do they stay in your system?Ishould only need them for 2 days.Crazy thing is Dr.Wait approved my perkacets but not the Soma.Thanks and I hope you can help me out.:

Hi Tickleme... hehe that tickled me just writing that. Anyway, thanks for responding. I didn't really know if Soma would show up on a drug screen or not. The pain mgmt clinic I go to does random drug screens but I'm not even sure what all they test for. I knew they tested for opiates but not sure what else. Have a great day and welcome to the site.

2-funny! Im on the clinc 2 lol and NO they dont test for them @ my clinic they only test for weed and benzos if they suspect your using because there on a different test
