Visit your pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist. Your pharmacist will need to ask questions about your symptoms. Make sure he / she knows that you are taking Methotrexate. Generally most cough medicines are going to be safe for you to take - but you should avoid anything that contains aspirin or a NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).
