A family member, who has a benign regular irregular heart rate, was prescribed Namenda. Because he has had episodes of syncope following the use of other medications he has not taken it. The prescribing physician said that syncope was not a side effect. Would like to know if Namenda is a risk factor for syncope and the source of your data.
What study is the source for determining that syncope is a frequent side effect of Namenda?

According to clinical trials run by the drug company before Namenda was approved by the FDA syncope was frequently observed.
