I have been taking Altace for 9 months now. I have experienced some side effects like tickling cough and some dizziness. What are some of the other side effects that could show up? Anyone have any help for me?
What side effects are associated with Altace?

My husband takes that and has been taking it for a couple of years now. He had that tickling cough but he has it less and less now. He has never complained of dizziness. He gets headaches occasionally, but that's about all. You might want to Google the drug and see what else you come up with.
Possible Side Effects
Altace generally is well tolerated, and side effects are usually mild and transient.
A dry, persistent cough has been reported with the use of Altace and other ACE inhibitors. Coughing resolves after discontinuing the drug.
Other side effects include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, rash, dizziness, fatigue, headache, loss of taste, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fainting and numbness or tingling in the hands or feet.
Altaceand other ACE inhibitors also may cause kidney failure and increased levels of potassium in the blood. The most serious but, fortunately, very rare side effects are liver failure and angioedema (swelling of lips and throat that can obstruct breathing).
