What reason could there possibly be to give Toradol, Heparin 5000uniits to someone on Elmiron 100mg?

Toradol is used for short-term (up to 5 days) treatment of moderately severe pain.
Heparin is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that prevents the formation of blood clots - it is often given prior to surgery.
Was the surgeon aware that the patient was taking Elmiron?
