I have been advised by my phys. ther. to find the thick, creamy zinc oxide product that looks white, that lifeguards use. This is to cover a surgery wound (it is closed) from the sun in Florida. Local pharmacies do not carry it.
What percentage of zinc oxide is in this product?

A product like this will be perfect - it contains 20% Zinc Oxide.

Zinc oxide creams are commonly marketed to treat diaper rash. They are equally effective as sunscreens. You could use diaper rash creams such as Desitin and Diaparene.
Hope this helps.
