There is no such thing as MSContin IR. You are speaking of two different things here. MSContin(morphine sulfate continuous release) is the long acting medication. MSIR(morphine sulfate immediate release) is the short acting. As for doses on the short acting, it comes in 10mg, 15mg and 30mg tabs in the immediate release tablet form. There are other doses available in the IR liquid and the extended release formulas.
