I took my daily 16mg dose in the morning and inadvertently took another dose at 11-30pm on the same day .
My dosage was increased 3months ago from 14 to 16mg and before that 12 mg to 14mg.I did not feel any benifits from the increases -my possible side effects are aching /stiff groins. I do not know if the groin pain is from the Parkinsons or the Requip medication.
What might happen if I took a double dose of Requip XL 16mg(daily) in mistake ?

Overdose symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, weakness, fainting, agitation, confusion, hallucinations, muscle twitching, tingly feeling, and chest pain.
You should see your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms - otherwise you need not worry about having an extra dose.
You should talk to your doctor about your aching / stiff groin. It could be a side-effect of Requip XL.
