COPD is exhausting in and of itself, yet in order for me to receive Xopenex I have to find a sponsor and pay a huge co-pay for a drug that works when albuterol makes my symptoms worse. I am trying to find a way to be able to afford the needed nebulizer liquid without having to get a loan. On an income of $628.00 per month I would think that the company that makes the drug would have a way to help. Thank you.
What makes the prescription drug xopenex so expensive/?

Have you approached the drug company to see if they can assist in the cost? Ask your pharmacy for contact details.
