I usually take Gabapentin 300 mg. They are tan and yellow. When VA filled the prescription this time they gave me a capsule that is yellow and marked with a black D 03. I live in Mexico, three days drive from the nearest VA hospital, and I'm concerned about taking these. I've been on this medication for five years and have never seen any that looked like these. Can anyone out there help?

Hello,
I did research and yes it is Gabapentin 300 MG Oral Capsule, yellow capsule imprint D 03. I could not find any images though.-
Now if you feel do not feel safe, I would not take them, this is my personal point of view. I take many medications, and sometimes have felt unsure, called my doctor and told him I am not taking this med due to so many risks involved (side effects and interactions with the other medications).-
If I were you I would go back to the pharmacy where you got them, and ask to speak to the chemist, and explain your situation. I also lived in Mexico, and I know how the "rules and regulations" go.
When it comes to medications safety always comes first , you are in a foreign country and if you are taking a medication and are afraid to, again speak with "el quimico farmaceutico", and get a clearer answer, before you take any.-

Yes, that is helpful. I got them from VA in McAllen. It is difficult for me to find ways to communicate with them, but I will try before I take the pill. I feel safer knowing maso4169 has identified them as Gabapentin 300. Thanks for taking the time to help me. Hope I can do the same for someone.
You are more than welcome.-
I have a prescription for Neurotin, the local CVS pharmacy (in Connecticut)substituted this generic. I have no qualms or doubts that it is the real deal.
Take it in good health...
