What is the shelf life of the nitroglycerin tablets?

The sublingual nitrogycerin tablets should be placed after 6 months, once the bottle is opened. Otherwise it is good until the expiry date on the bottle.

Nitroglycerin - Can I swallow SL nitro. Preparation in stead of regular oral preparation??

I prescribed ISDN 10 mg tid orally, because 10 mg isn't available, so can I use 2 tablets 5 mg of SL preparation instead ??
