We are not done with family planning and the hepsera medication had cause defects to the sperms. Will need to be off hepsera for some healthier sperms. Wonder how big is the risk.

Hello,
I advice you to speak to an urologist, they are trained to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with urological disorders. The organs covered by urology include the kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra, and the male reproductive organs (testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate and penis).
I hope evrything works out fine for you.-

How did you confirm that Hepsera is affecting your sperms?
I am keen to know your answer because I am planning a baby too.
I am not a doctor but as far as i know stopping Hepsera could be pretty dangerous. Even if you have no virus load in your blood it may come back with vengance. However three months break could still be feasable.
