What is the difference between the Budeprion XL 682 and the Budeprion which was a round white pill?

Details:

I have been taking the generic form of Wellbutrin XL 300mg for about 6 months. The first 3 month supply was a white round pill, this time it is a yellow oblong pill with the 682 number on it. Is there a difference? I have been taking this 682 pill for about a month and my depression symptoms seem to be getting worse. Is there a difference between the two pills?

The yellow oblong pill is the Impax Labs formulation (possibly distributed by teva or global pharm) I switched from 100mg bupropion SR (2/day) to the 150mg version of the yellow pill. The first day on the new pill it stopped working 4-6 hours in, I had anxiety bordering on paranoia (new symptom) and trouble with focus and memory (pre medicated symptoms). I switched back the next morning.

If you have a refill on your prescription try asking your pharmacist to order a different brand of generic for you.
