What is the difference between Magnesium oxide and Magnesium chloride?

Both are Magnesium "salts". Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Oxide are used as a supplement to maintain adequate magnesium in the body. Magnesium oxide is also used to treat heartburn and indigestion.
