is opana or lortab, which one is better for this kind of pain?

I haven't heard of Opana before, but Lortab is a narcotic pain reliever. It works well to rid pain, but it is extremely addicting. not a good idea to take for long term. It's unfortunate that most of the really good working drugs out there are addicting. If you still plan on taking the Lortab you may be on it forever, or the day will come that you end up going into withdrawals because you stop taking it. If taken as prescribed, it works very well in pain relief. Your doctor can wean you down off of it in the future if the time comes that you need to stop taking it. I would try other meds first before taking such an addicting drug. You don't need that monkey on your back on top of everything else you have going on. NIK
