I am wondering if any of you have found a medication that works well for anxiety. I have anxiety relating to my detox from Opana ER. I am praying I don't have to use BENZOS because I have been severely addicted to xanax and clonazapam before. And, my sister says they make me lose it, and I should steer clear of benzos. My doctor put me on prozac yesterday. But I just realized that there are other pills that help with anxiety in a quicker way that I could talk when I get particularly anxious. Thanks. Marie

Marie,
Might want to call your doc and ask for some Atarax. It works well for anxiety and I used to take it for sleep. It is a stronger version of Benadryl and I don't believe it has any contraindications in your situation. Good luck sweet.
