Prandin (repaglinide) dosage will depend on how well the diabetes is controlled, other medical conditions one may have, and other medications one is taking. The dose will also depend on the hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) test result. If the HbA1c is less than 8 percent, the starting dose will likely be Prandin 0.5 mg, taken before meals. The maximum Prandin dosage is 16 mg per day.
The doc/pharmacist, however would be the best person to determine the dosage, please do not self medicate, be well & safe!
