What is safety of tizanidine in cerebral palsy?

It is indicated for acute and intermittant management of increased muscle tone with spasticity. So it could possibly be given to someone with CP but it would also depend on what other drugs they were taking. I havent seen where it is contraindicated for a person with CP.

Tizanidine is a drug that relaxes the voluntary muscles of the body. It may be used to relieve muscle spasm in cerebral palsy.
