What is promethazine made of, or is it meth in pill fourm?

This drug is not related to meth in any way even though "meth" is part of the name. It is a phenothiazine derivative, antihistamine type drug. Occasionally with these types of drugs, some people get a paradoxical stimulation reaction and rather than drowsiness you get restlessness and irritability. You see this a lot in children and elderly with Benedryl. It sounds as if you may be getting a paradoxical reaction to this drug. You should call your physician and explain to him what is going on. You may need a different drug.
