For a Sinus infection the following dose is recommended: This is recommended for an adult by the way

take 1 tablet (500 mg) by oral route 4 times per day for 10 to 14 days.

if taking amoxicilin, usually you would need to take one 500 mg tablet three times a day(with food) for 10 days.
