Patient is prohibited from NSAID relief and has little or no effect from Tylenol. Vicodin relieves pain, but long term use is not viewed as acceptable.

Vicodin is unacceptable as long term relief by patient. Fear of dependence on drug beyond pain relief. NSAIDs unacceptable due to coumadin and aspirin therapy for cardiac issues.
I can understand the dependence part but that goes with every pain medicine even tylenol! Celebrex might be a good medication for the patient i actually use this for breakthrough pain.
