... will provera still be effective? my doctor prescribe me to take provera 5tablets in 5days, but when the 4th & 5th day i forgot & take alcohol drinks?? is it bad? do i have to take another set of provera? or add another 2 tablets?? kindly answer my question.. :((

While it is not recommended that you take provera with alcohol because of the drowsiness or dizziness you may experience, it won't decrease its effectiveness. I don't know why you are taking the provera so whether you need to take another set of the provera or not I can't say. Please consult your doctor and let him/her know that you forgot to take the last two pills and ask what to do.
