Hey Oso Palon,
The medication Kadian comes in a capsule that releases the medication slowly. It should not be crushed or chewed but swallowed whole to avoid a rapid ingestion of too high a dose of morphine. It can also be opened and sprinkled on apple sauce which is room temperature or cooler. Rinse the mouth out to completely clear the mouth of any sprinkles. Do not chew the sprinkles.
Otherwise, I don't know what else may help the release and absorption of the Kadian.
