i have all three, i just got outta rehab for alcohol and they gave me all these med because of nerve damage over the years. but i heard that vistaril inhances them. please let me know. thanks.

They can all cause sedation so dont take them before you drive or operate machinery. Vistaril is an enhancing drug. Years ago, when you got a pain shot in the hospital you usually got Demerol and Vistaril. Vistaril would enhance the actions of the Demerol. Now we have better drugs to use so you dont see that as often. Vistaril is categorized as an anxiolytic and is a type of antihistamine. It is used for conditions that cause itching. You were given it fot its anxiolytic properties though. Xanax and klonopin will also help with anxiety and restlessness from detoxing from the alcohol.
