Wish I could help but have never heard of either of those pain meds. I had two back surgerys and I had a PCP in the hospital and sent home with Vicodin. It helped but I have a low tolerance to pain and a high tolerance to pain meds. I don't remember what they gave me but I did go on a rollcoaster ride of a host of pain meds. I am now on methadone.
