I have recently tested positive for meprobamate on an urine drug test. The only medications I take are Maxalt, Norflex, Buspar, Vicodin, prilosec, ibuprofen, multivitamin, vitamin b12, and an ocassional tylenol pm. would any of these medications cause a false positive for this drug and or any possible medical condition?

Meprobamate produces CNS depressant action at multiple site and is used to control anxiety. Buspar has similar purposes, though it's worthless in my opinion. Norflex is a relaxer so it could possibly have the same affect. NSAIDs nor opiate should show up as a benzodiazdepine. Hope that helps wish I could offer more.
