It usually depends on the manufacturer and the dosage. For Trileptal 300mg tablets manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals, the inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, iron oxide, magnesuim stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, talk, and titanium dioxide. For an oral suspension, the inactive ingredients are ascorbic acid, dispersible cellulose, ethanol (say what??), macrogol stearate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water (so they took the time to purify the water, at least... ), sodium saccharin, sorbic acid, sorbitol, and yellow-plum-lemon aroma.

For the inactive ingredients, I referred to the medication guide I was given with the medication, although I'm sure the information on inactive ingredients is somewhere online. Aside from all the... chemistry language, I hope this was at least *somewhat* helpful. If not, I'm sure you can ask your pharmacist if they know the inactive ingredients- after all, they have the original bottle that the pills were shipped in.
