What does the [3H] in [3H]-imipramine stands for? Why is the imipramine labelled with [3H] rather?

I have researched your question but could not find a good answer. I think it must some be something to do with its chemical name 5-[3-(Dimethylamino) propyl]-10, 11-dihydro-5H-dibenz [b,f]-azepine monohydrochloride. Either way its not really significant / meaningful unless you are a chemist.
