I am in a methadone treatment plan and have moved from one state to another. I was taking both Lorazepam and Zolpidem at my other state and everything was OK because I had a script. The new state is different though. Will these 2 show up as dirty and how long does it take to get it out of my system and will I get sick? I am taking 1 each Zolpidem 10 Mg and Lorazepam 0.5 MG 1x s dsy only. They both really help for anziety so I can sleep. HELP!

I dont know what state you are from but those drug can & will kill you with methadone. My adopted sons monther died of methadone & Loazepan... please stop..please. I still wipe tears from this 30 year old mans face and its been 9 years now. And guess what?? Oh yea ... he is now an addict.

Why do you say Methadone is bad shit? I have been on it for a little over 10 years due to opiate addiction. I just know if I go off the Methadone, I will go back to codein for pain. I have degenerative spine which in turn makes my neck unable to turn w/o pain and my back hurts along with terrible headaches. The Methadone certainly doesn't stop the pain but it does keep me off pain pills. Due to the cost, I would love to get off the Methadone but I tried several times and got really sick and took codein to off set the sick part, so just went back on the Methadone. The cost is sooo high but it is better than going to 3 or 4 Doctors trying to get pain meds for my pain in my spine. How do you get off of the stuff?

~tarvesen, Lorazepam is a narcotic and may show up as a benzo(xanax,valium,ect). The Zolpidem is a non-narcotic and shouldn't come up as "dirty". I am on methadone myself and what you are taking with that dose you are fine!!! You are not going to die!! It's a very low dose.It can be a deadly combo mix IF the dose's were much higher.Methadone has SAVED my life, so as long as it keeps you comfortable and not seeking "harder drugs" who cares what other people say. It's your life and body.I wish you the best of luck!! :)

A Doctor gave me those pills knowing I was on 140 mgs per day of methadone. Also the Recovery place (dosing Doctor) that gave me the methadone knew I was on the Lorazepam. Like I said I only take one 0.5 mg at night and one 10 mg Zolpidem at night. I would sure like to hear from a DR or some other people about this. Are you sure about this?? I don't want to take a combo that will kill me!
Honey join the drug "Addiction"... "Drug Dependence" "Opiate Dependence" support groups on this site, there is a particular individual who works as a drug dependence counselor or something in that area with a name of Robert_(something else) that is very good at answering these types of questions. He mostly helps people getting of of drugs or w/metadone issues. Try to find him..there is a way to send him a private question and he is execllent about responding but I cant remember exactly how to to that. Put the question on the fourm about how to send a private msg to someone & you will get responses I promise. I wish I more answers, I am just a sad mom of a drug addicted pregnant daughter & fiance (I consider her fiance my adopted son) who has done a lot of research and know proof positive that you have a very scary mix going on. You are on low doses of the meds at night, but mixing them with methadone is still very frightening.

Please understand that just because a doctor gave them to you even knowing you on on methadone dose not make them safe, you have to be your own advacate. Me son litteraly lost his mother on the exact dose prescribed by doctors, they checked her levels after death because pills were missing, unfortunately she did not take them... guess who did? Give up??? Yea... I am sure you know who did... and he still cries over her. Good luck sweetheart... pls join those groups and your questions will get out to more people that know more info... some doc's maybe?? mostly real people..some counselors ... very good ones... you will get some answers... Methadone is horrible SHIT! Been there done that and barely excaped.No good can come from it,especially when mixing with a downer
Methadone has SAVED my life!!! So if you had a bad experience with it fine! but don't put it down because of your experience with it.
